This week’s prayer requests

Deut. 33:12  "Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in Him, for He shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders."

- Praise God for the way His inspired Word speaks to us, reminds us of our calling, as well as His promise to equip us for the work He has for us.

- Pray for the 29 volunteers serving in Aliquippa this week.  Ask God for His protection over each one, for bonding in the group, and for the people they'll meet over there.  Ask God to use them as a light and strong conduit of His care and love. Praise God for Scott's church planting being done there.  Ask God to help it to continue to flourish.

- Continue to lift up our denomination and ask that the Holy Spirit will continue to breathe renewal. Ask God to help the church stand strong and unified on God's Word as the sure foundation.

- Thank God for the good recovery progress for Bev Marvin and ask that it continue, bringing her more strength each day.

- Praise God for his compassionate care of Andy VanHouten during his surgery last Friday. Pray for success, for a smooth and quick recovery, as well as patience in that down time.

- Pray for the heartaches and losses in our Alive family, both known and unknown.  Ask God for His healing, comforting hand for all those whose situations are only known by a few or perhaps, no one but God.  Pray that we can be encouragers and prayer support, knowing that God knows and sees what we don't.

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17  "Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word."
