This week’s prayer requests
Joshua 1:9 - "Be strong and courageous...the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
- Praise God for all the newly baptized children and for our Kids Alive leaders, for their kindness, faith, gentleness, patience, imaginative minds and willingness to serve. Ask God to bless all the new parents with wisdom and stamina, and for the good health of their families.
- Thank God for all those willing to lead small groups and all those who attend. Thank Him in advance for all that He will do through these groups. Pray that these groups will start off well.
- Pray for progress on the car wash property. Pray that all details will come together to be able to do the work and that the team will be able to accomplish what they've planned to do.
- Ask God to continue to generously provide for Alive monetarily, while touching hearts to be generous with the gifts He gives. Pray that wisdom with discernment would be a part of each financial decision.
- Please remember the Wynalda family as they grieve the loss of Jim's dad, and the Benes family as they grieve the loss of Deanna's mother. Ask God to comfort them, provide them with what they need as they move forward, and to show us how to be a support. Pray for all those who are missing loved ones and thank God for the care He provides them.
- Continue to pray for Mel and Linda VanderBie as Mel undergoes treatment for cancer. Ask for positive results from the chemo along with strength and stamina to withstand the effects of the drug. Ask for restful, comfortable, encouraging days and joys that only come from You, Lord.
- Please pray for the safety and health of all our congregation, but especially for those who are home on Sundays for a variety of reasons. Ask for protection from illness, falls, or family difficulties.
- Ask God to care for those who are in warmer climates during our winters. Thank Him for his watchful eye, protection from harm, and the joys He blesses them with.
- Please pray that Alive as a church would be a beacon of love and hope to those in our neighborhood.
