This week’s prayer requests

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

-Pray for Alive to be a community rich in prayer. Pray that prayer would be our first response in all situations and that we could have a genuine desire to be in constant communion with Him throughout the day. Pray for boldness in prayer, and for God to open our eyes and hearts to those in need of prayer.

-Pray for each of us to remember that our days and our works are God-ordained, that we have a purpose and God is moving us into it. Ask God to give us the courage to surrender ourselves and respond in obedience, and pray that He would bring about change through us.

-Be in prayer for those undergoing surgery and recovering from surgery. Pray for God’s guidance over the minds and hands of the treating medical professionals and pray for minimal complications.

-Pray over anyone in our communities facing anxiety or uncertainty. Pray that God will strip away all fears and replace them with His peace; that He will wrap them in His healing grace.

-Lift up the Leadership Transition Team and the upcoming listening sessions. Pray for good participation and for the listening sessions to be a safe space for all to share their thoughts and vision for Alive’s future. Pray for the Transition Team as they compile what’s been shared at the sessions and begin to form possible paths moving forward.

-Continue to praise God for the gifts, talents, and willing hearts of our new staff members in Nursery and Kids Alive! Pray God’s blessing over each of them as they step into their roles.
