This week’s prayer requests
Hebrews 8:4 - And now, what the law code asked for but we couldn't deliver is accomplished as we, instead of redoubling our own efforts, simply embrace what the Spirit is doing in us. (The Message)
- Offer thanks for the power of God's spoken Word and for our pastors, who dive in and study from many angles. Thank God for their faithfulness to God's calling on their lives and the leadership they give.
- Please continue to pray for our pastors and their families, for protection as they do what God has called them to do, both here and overseas.
- Give thanks for the leadership of Kids Alive as they teach our children who Jesus is. Thank God for their kindness, gentleness, patience, imaginative minds, and their willingness to serve in this way.
- Pray for our nation and abroad. Ask for unity under our God who is sovereign over all, that our leaders' hearts would be turned to doing the will of God, for the common good of the people.
- Ask God for His strength and ability to flow, through the new elders and deacons. Ask that they may feel the camaraderie and like mindedness as they dive in.
- Pray that God will bring comfort to the Wynalda family as they mourn the loss of Jim's dad. Pray that God would wrap His loving arms around them and all those who are grieving.
- Remember Mel & Linda VanderBie in prayer and ask for positive results from the chemo and the capacity to withstand the treatments. Pray for restful, encouraging days and for the strength that can only come from our Lord.
