This week’s prayer requests

Ps. 55:22 - "Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you;  He will never let the righteous be shaken."

 - Praise God for a church that fellowships together, for all those involved in making the church picnic happen, all those who helped in any way, for the people who attended, and for the deepening of relationships and the connections made.

-  Be thankful to God for all who work behind the scenes for special events and on weekly rotation.  Praise Him for willing hearts and hands.

-  Ask God for a hedge of protection around our pastors, that He would fight off any kind of evil, and that they would feel the power of the Holy Spirit working in them.

-  Knowing that there are those who have quiet struggles; dealing with things only some know about, pray for God's strength to meet each new day and that every day would bring new hope and encouragement.

-  Continue to pray for an uneventful and complete recovery for Denise Stam after shoulder surgery, that the days will go by blessed and that each morning would bring less pain.

-  Remember in prayer those who are grieving the loss of someone they loved or dreams that are no more.  Pray for a great capacity to feel God's comfort and peace.  May He provide all their needs.

If you find yourself in a season of stillness, don't despair.  The wind will return.  The course may not be clear now, but trust that God is guiding you, even if it's through whispers even if it's through maps you don't yet understand.  Hold steady.  Redemption is coming.
