This week’s prayer requests

~Give thanks for the gift of sharing the communion table together in remembrance as a community of believers. For us to never stop praising or giving thanks for God's faithfulness that cannot be undone.

~Mark 10:45 Even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.

~Living into the promise made at baptism to help teach and disciple our children, we give thanks for the faithful teachers as they weekly disciple our kids in the way of Jesus. For the hearts filled with love our teachers have for God and all the children they lead and guide each week.

~Matthew 19:14 Jesus said ""Let the children come to me and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these."

~Mel VanderBie covets prayers as he continues struggling with reactions to the treatments given and is experiencing days that are not very good. Pray for answers that work through his ongoing difficulty leading to relief.

~Isaiah 40:29, 31 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.

~There are many in our community concerned about family, about friends, with sickness, living with physical or emotional pain, those whose walk is not close to the Lord, some are alone or lonely, God knows each need and every person by their name. Pray for the strength to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, keep our prayers rising as an offering of trust in Your mighty power.

~Matthew 6:8 Your Heavenly Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

~Be in prayer for a holy boldness to be a people of prayer. To be strong in faith and sharing God's love in a world desperate for hope. To know that prayer is our lifeline to the One who holds all things together.

~"Rejoice in confident hope. Be patient in trouble and keep on praying." Romans 12:12 NLT
