This week’s prayer requests
~ Giving praise to our God who ordains the winds and waves, causes the sunshine to warm the earth, the trees to bloom, and the colorful flowers all for His glory. For the beauty created by His hand, may we never cease to praise our God: From Psalm 96:12 Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Let all the trees of the forest sing for joy
~ As a community of believers help us to stay true to the covenantal promises made, to help raise, encourage, and pray for our children as they grow and learn to know Jesus. In a time that values activity, Lord help us to take a breath, take the time to love and care for others the way Jesus loved during His time on earth.
~ For all within the Alive community that have experienced loss, struggles with health, the chaos in our upside-down world, show us creative ways to be Jesus to them. Pray for those hurting by name, asking God to surround them with His presence. Remind us that nothing falls outside of Your providential care. Praying to be shaped as a covenantal community that reflects Your steadfast love, grounded in scriptures and the truths contained in them.
~ Be in prayer with thanksgiving for our families and loved ones, for God's continuous guidance and provision over each life. Pray for homes filled with peace and the love of Jesus. For us to recognize the unexpected blessings poured out over us. Praying for God's protection, grateful that He guides every step we take. In all things we give thanks that each day brings new mercies.
Prayer is not asking, prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God, at His disposition and listening to His voice in the depths of our hearts. ~Mother Theresa
