Baptism is the outward action that represents the invisible work of the Holy Spirit upon our hearts. It is a symbol of God's promise to us that just as water washes away dirt from the body, Christ's blood washes away our sins completely! (Heidelberg Catechism, Lords' Day 26, QA 69) Baptism also makes a statement that we belong to God and that He will faithfully love us as His children.
We baptize new believers and also the children of believers as a sign of God's covenant with them, trusting that God will begin the work in them that leads them to eventually make profession of their faith our of their own commitment to Christ!
Dates: November 19, February 11, and May 13.
Core Membership Class and Baptism Class are required as preparation for Baptism.
