College & Young Adult Discipleship

We really love and care about out students and young adults. We offer a multi-generational worship that's full of passion and excitement. The millennial generation is not just invited but vital to the culture of our church. It is our goal to equip you for the journey no matter where that takes you in the future. At Alive Ministries we want to foster a connection and belief in the church. We want you to be CONNECTED, GROWING and GOING so that you can BRING LIFE!

Take a look at all the different ways you can get started. If you don't know what's right for you, give Carrie a call and she will take you out for a cup of coffee so you can figure it out together!

Big Lunch

Gathering around a table is a valuable thing. So many great conversations and friendships begin when we slide our feet under a table and break bread...or tacos. together!  We promise to provide meals for you and your friends to do just that twice a semester after the 10:45 service (during school year).

Breaking Bread

For the past few years we have been having big lunches for our college students and other young adults once a month and it's been so fun. However, we want to grow deeper relationships and we think the best way to do that is to get people around smaller dinner tables in homes with families. The idea of breaking bread together has been an important part of church and fellowship since the early church (Acts 2:42).

If you would like to host a group of 2, 4 or 6 young adults you can sign-up at the kiosk or fill out an on-line form. We are asking that you commit to having your group over 2 times per semester. It doesn't have to be on Sunday's. We will provide you with their contact information.

If you are a young adult (college, post college, young professional) and want to be a part of this you can sign-up by yourself or with your friends and we will do our best to keep you together. Sign-up at the kiosk or here

Pub Theology

Open and honest conversation about things that matter. A table at which all perspectives are welcome. The format is simple: beer, conversation, and God. Come bring your questions, bring a friend, and pull up a chair. Be ready to engage with people of varying religious traditions, philosophical perspectives and life experiences. You’ll be able to share your own wrestlings and thoughts while learning something new along the way, and hey, there’s likely to be a good craft beer you haven’t tried yet!

Join us every Thursday at Osgood Brewing Co. from 7:30-9pm.

There is nothing to prepare so you can pop by whenever!

Link Groups

Every church has their own unique language. Link Groups is what we call our small group discipleship at Alive. Depending on what stage of life you are in, we have groups that are made up of 18-20 somethings. It can be good to be in a group where people are in the similar stages of life as you. However, if you are looking for a more intergenerational group you have that option too.

Check out all the Link Groups options here

No matter what kind of group you end up with it's a great way to be connected, build relationships and grow in your faith!

Missions & Scholarship

Alive Ministries values experiences. Much of our faith formation happens when we leave the familiar, step out and try something new. College is a great time to explore and engage your faith and your world in a new way. That might be through a missions trip, study tour or even a conference. We understand that you are in the best time in your life to have these experiences but it's also the time you have the least amount of money. We want to partner with you in both prayer and financial assistance.

If you are interested in a scholarship towards your next adventure fill out this form and email it to Carrie.
